Minecraft without short term memory

This isn’t Minecraft as you know it. Instead of having a pre-generated world, the game generates it on the fly. Nothing is stored, everything you see is generated by AI using (only) the previously generated video frame as reference. If you glance away from a body of water, it probably won’t be there when you look back. If you look closely at a pile a rocks, you’re likely to find the entire landscape rocky when you pull back.

BoingBoing criticizes it as a terrible game, but I don’t think that’s taking it on its own terms–I don’t think it was meant to be a good game, but rather a conceptual exercise. However, I can imagine a mechanic in which players better keep an eye on anything they don’t want to dissolve into something else.
